LA1000 Lid applicator

The LA1000 can be retrofitted to existing case-packing machinery to produce a two-piece retail-ready transit pack, which fully satisfies the requirements of the retailers.  The stand alone lidding station operates on demand, with no control tie-in to the host machine, allowing it to be easily employed with tray-packers of most makes. It can operate with both top-load tray packing equipment and wraparound case-packers, providing a wraparound lid secured by a combination of adhesive and tuck-in sections.  As the tray is opened, the small perforated sections at the side come away with the lid, leaving clean edged apertures that in most cases would be hidden by adjacent trays.
